A wine which has been cherished from the very outset. During
harvesting, the grapes are collected in fruit crates to prevent damage or
crushing. The harvest is then carefully transferred to the
winery press, where the grapes will macerate for a time, depending on the
temperature. After maceration, the juice is separated from the
solids. This wine, made according to a two hundred-year-old
process, is known as Becquer Primicia.
TASTING NOTES: Brilliant cherry red. Clean bouquet
with a good intensity, grape and red berry aromas, with light floral
notes. Good composition: flavoursome, smooth, fresh and
balanced, with a certain fleshy roundness. Clean nose-throat
flavour with fruitiness predominating. Good length of
flavours. An excellent wine for drinking young, but will also
develop favourably in the bottle over 4 to 8 years.
